CONSTRUCTION
Built by Westerly Marine, Santa Ana, CA. Construction is of very high quality, in materials and workmanship
Foam sandwich construction with epoxy resins and pre-preg carbon fibre. Bulkheads in Nomex. Solid laminate is used in high stress areas, such as where sail drives are located. Deck fittings are reinforced and/or have counter plates. Daggerboards and rudders are autoclaved carbon pre-preg.
Fore and aft bulkheads are watertight, with a forward 50cm foam sacrificial crash bow.
ACCOMMODATIONS
General: Very high quality, ultra light weight interior, with composite honeycomb furniture. All visible interior hull surfaces are faired and painted to the highest standard, with semi-gloss paint. Wood veneer (teak) fiddles on composite panels
